TORINO is located in northern Italy, close to the Alps and to the French border.

- By Airplane:
Torino international airport ("Sandro Pertini"),
Caselle,
is connected to the city dowtown by both
train
and
coach
services (the railway reaches a secondary station, Torino Dora, while the coach stops at the main station Porta Nuova
); the coach ride takes approximately 45 minutes and the cost of the ticket is 5 €.
A
taxi
service is also available (about 50 € for a 25 min. ride).
- By Train:
Torino has three main railway stations: Porta Nuova the main Station, Porta Susa and Lingotto.
The first two are in the city centre.
In order to check schedules and timetables, you can either use the italian rail site
Trenitalia
(Italian Railways), or
Die Bahn
(German Railways).
How to reach the Conference location (Barolo):
- on Sunday 5th May evening, from Porta Susa railway station there will be a transport (bus or cars) to Barolo - further details will be provided
- on Monday 6th May afternoon, from Porta Nuova railway station there will be a transport (bus or cars) to Barolo - further details will be provided
- on Friday 10th May afternoon, from Barolo there will be a transport to Torino downtown - further details will be provided
